Philip Raymond Regan (April 6, 1937 – July 8, 2026) was an American professional baseball pitcher, scout and manager. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox; he also managed the Baltimore Orioles. During the 1966 season, when Regan was Walter Alston's favorite pitcher from the Dodger bullpen, teammate Sandy Koufax nicknamed Regan "the Vulture", due to his knack of earning wins in late-inning relief situations. Regan served as the pitching coach for the New York Mets for part of the 2019 season. He also enjoyed a long career as a manager in winter league baseball, winning the 1988 Caribbean Series with the Leones del Escogido, and piloting several other teams in the Dominican and Venezuelan leagues.
